**Objects:** THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF THE U3A IS:TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE NOT IN FULL TIME GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT WHO ARE IN THEIR THIRD AGE (BEING THE PERIOD OF TIME AFTER THE FIRST AGE OF CHILDHOOD DEPENDENCE AND THE SECOND AGE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AND/OR PARENTALRESPONSIBILITY) RESIDING IN BRIGHTON AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY

**Activities:** Our U3A is a self-help organisation for older people providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. Members share their skills and life experiences in a wide range of mental, physical and social activities.There is a wide range of interest groups that meet regularly, often in each other?shomes, and a monthly meeting with a speaker.
