Mission: To host a world-renowned annual conference, bringing together women from all around the globe. To advance the education of the public in the subject of sex-based rights and equality. To promote human rights, especially women's rights. To promote women artists, feminist and activist art, and to give voice to minority and disadvantaged women through art.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1 To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Subject Of Gender Equality By Hosting An Annual Conference Showcasing Speakers And Researchers To Disseminate The Results Of Their Work And Research.3.2 The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity, In Particular Equality Between Women And Men, And To Eliminate Gender Discrimination For The Public Benefit By:(a) Raising Awareness Of Discrimination In Society By Publications, Lectures, Use Of The Media, Public Advocacy And By Hosting An Annual Conference;(b) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity By The Same Means As Those In 3.2(a);(c) Promoting Attitudes, Customs And Practices In Favour Of Equality By The Use Of Publications, Media And Public Advocacy;(d) Disseminating Research On Equality And Diversity Issues And Showcasing The Results To The Public At An Annual Conference;(e) Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity.3.3 To Promote Human Rights (as Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions And Declarations) And In Particular Women’s Rights Throughout The World By All Or Any Of The Following Means:obtaining Redress For The Victims Of Human Rights Abusesresearch Into Human Rights Issuescommenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislationraising Awareness Of Human Rights Issuespromoting Public Support For Human Rightspromoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals And Corporations.in Furtherance Of That Object But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Engage In Political Activity Provided That The Trustees Are Satisfied That The Proposed Activities Will Further The Purposes Of The Charity To An Extent Justified By The Resources Committed And The Activity Is Not The Dominant Means By Which The Charity Carried Out Its Objects.3.4 To Promote Art For The Benefit Of The Public, In Particular To Promote The Art Of Women Especially Socially Excluded Women, By The Provision Of An Art Exhibition At The Annual Conference.
