Trustees Annual Report The Power Foundation for Young People

Welcome to Annual General Meeting
After the success of the brand new play which was specially written by Kai Jolley (for the foundation) The new play ‘Finding Lever - Sunlight of Congo’ was well received with a standing ovation in January 2023, the Foundation has taken a break during the rest of 2023.
The last production gave an opportunity for young people to work with professionals, such as Emma Harrison a professional make-up artist and Isabelle Ryder who wrote and performed our new score specially for the ‘Finding Lever production.’
We were especially pleased to work with the Congolese society who provided valuable input to the themes of the play, and who sourced the Congolese costumes from Africa which we were able to purchase from them, supporting their society.
The charity received funding from Arnold Clarke fund for £1000 & Wirral BC together fund £500 and some donations in 2022/2023.
New Aims for 2024 -
Look for funding opportunities. Take on a new trustee.
If funding is acquired, then we will look at producing ‘Wuthering Heights’ for the theatre.
