## **Trustee Annual Report 2020 to 2021 - 6th Financial Year** 

## **Meeting on Monday 24th January 2022  for The Power Foundation for Young People**

## **Welcome to Annual General Meeting** 

During the last year we have planned, auditioned and performed ‘A Midsummer Night’s dream.’ As there were Covid restrictions we contacted the local council for guidance before completing the planning for the rehearsals. 

The Foundation opted for a theatre production rather than open-air, and the play was well attended and received. The Foundation was able to do a profit share with the actors of £100 each. We worked with Isabelle Ryder who composed a beautiful music score and make-up artist Emma Harrison using local talent. We also had a local young person make a mini set of the stage production AJ Thompson 

The Charity is planning the next production ‘Finding Lever - Sunlight of Congo,’ funded by Wirral Borough Council’s Local councillor fund for Bebington & PortSunlight and LCVS, Duchy of Lancaster. 

## **Aims for 2022** 

## **The Foundation is hoping to recruit more trustees** 

**We aim to put on ‘Finding Lever - Sunlight of Congo’ in a theatre locally and invite schools to attend.** 

## **Produce a film teaser** 

**Hoping to plan another show by the end of the year e.g. Wuthering Heights**
