. Going Concern
Writing in February 2022, it is eas*r for us to now Underst￿ some of the impact of Covid-19 on KeshetUK
than il was al thé end of the period descvibed in thi5 repwt. Thi$ indudes Some of our ￿gUlar donations bein9
cancelled or grants being linrted We continue lo take sleps to mil￿ale the risks and maximise the benefit to
our benef￿larIeS durirg thts peric*J.
Our wogramming prior to the pandemic was based on ace-ttrfa¢e delNery which had to cornpletety stop in the
early phases. We reintroduced lace-to-face delivery in Ihe ktter ham 012021. going back into ￿hoolS to deliver
face4i>lacè pro3ramming. We have %wxked cbjsely wrth stakeholdèrs, including schools and youth
organisations, to explo￿ where we can delwer our work using al￿rnatiVe fomiats. arHJ to explorè the likely take
up ol our chantable offer through 2021-22. Our delivery bevels are n¢Jw retuming thwr pre-pandemL levels, and
interest in our services conlinues to grow. Nevertheless. actiwty targèts for 2021-22 remain uncertain, as we
anlicpate uncertainly Irom the organisations and institutions who we deliver services to of partner with. with
consequent can¢ellats"ons or reschedulirg of our programming al short no1￿e.
The impact of Cowd-19 may adversety impact our funding over the eknming few years. Reduced or uncertain
ath'vity may lower our attractiveness to some funders. The large muiti-year grants that fomi the backbone ol our
funding are partialty ¢onlim*d for 2021r22. but sorr* major donor5 commrtmenls are up for renèwal. We will
need to woik hard lo ￿￿re further cycles ol these awards, as well as bu￿￿kn9 new donor relationshps. and
being cautious with our spending. Our strategic plan continues to attract new donors_ In September 2021 we
launched our Community Lrfe Pr¢gramme lo work wrth community organi5ations and sYnag￿￿e$. Core funding
for three years for thts ha5 ccrfne Irrmn new funders who are exciled by the polential impact.
We also expect a fall In indNidLtal 9iving. rellects.ng ihe financial drfficultie5 many will face this year. which will be
fell by our supporters. Wè a￿ fortunat¢ lo have buitt up 8(lequ8tè uncestricled reseNes wh￿h wll help us
Ihrough this period of uncertainty.
The Trustees therefore exped the charity to have enough resources to remain in existence lor the loreseeab
future. For thi5 reason, they continue to adcpt thè gtsiro concem basis in preparing the fina￿la1 stslemenls.
