In furtherance of these objects<br>but not otherwise, the charity trustees shall<br>have power; to establish or secure the<br>establishment of a community hub and to<br>maintain or manage or cooperate with any<br>statutory authority in the maintenance and<br>meeting of such a hub for activities<br>provided by the CIO in furtherance of the<br>above objects.<br>|

The benefits to the<br>public are by providing a public space for<br>use by the local residents including<br>supporting local business people by<br>providing the facility. This has included<br>making the venue available as a meeting<br>space, for leisure space and social events.<br>The social events over the last year have<br>seen attendance increase.<br>Trustees have been investigating options of<br>further premises in Iwade where the trust<br>may be able to bring further benefits to<br>residents, and this will be a consideration<br>for future financial decisions.|

As in<br>previous years, we have continued to be able<br>to offer the barn free of charge to community<br>groups, as well as holding our own events to<br>raise funds for the upkeep of the building, as<br>well as expanding the work we do away from<br>the barn.<br>The hire fees of the barn has been covering<br>costs, although the increasing income from the<br>monthly micropub has allowed us to run bigger<br>events and further projects in the village.<br>The increase in trustees has really shown it’s<br>benefits this year, with two additional trustees<br>joining us.|
