advance education and provide facility in

leisure time occupation with the objective of
improving community life for Iwade
residents. In furtherance of these objects
but not otherwise, the charity trustees shall
have power; to establish or secure the
establishment of a community hub and to
maintain or manage or cooperate with any
statutory authority in the maintenance and
meeting of such a hub for activities
provided by the CIO in furtherance of the
above objects.

management of the community space for
the residents of Iwade. The benefits to the
public are by providing a public space for
use by the local residents including
supporting local business people by
providing the facility. This has included
making the venue available as a meeting
space, for leisure space and social events.
The social events over the last year have
seen attendance increase.
Trustees have been investigating options of
further premises in Iwade where the trust
may be able to bring further benefits to
residents, and this will be a consideration

previous years, we have continued to be able
to offer the barn free of charge to community
groups, as well as holding our own events to
raise funds for the upkeep of the building, as
well as expanding the work we do away from
the barn.
The hire fees of the barn has been covering
costs, although the increasing income from the
monthly micropub has allowed us to run bigger
events and further projects in the village.
The increase in trustees has really shown it’s
benefits this year, with two additional trustees
