residents. In furtherance of these objects
but not otherwise, the charity trustees shall
have power; to establish or secure the
establishment of a community hub and to
maintain or manage or cooperate with any
statutory authority in the maintenance and
meeting of such a hub for activities
provided by the CIO in furtherance of the
above objects.

providing the facility. This has included
making the venue available as a meeting
space, for leisure space and social events.

We have continued to be able to offer the barn
free of charge to community groups, as well as
holding our own events to raise funds for the
upkeep of the building.
We have remained financially stable, covering
all costs, but this has only been possible by the
trustees volunteering their time to run the
monthly micropub, and other events.
We have still had a few issues with hirers not
looking after the building, and took the
decision to no longer accept bookings for
parties. This will remain under review.
We have taken on 4 additional trustees this
year to enable the work of the running of the
charity to be spread out among more people,
and this has been a successful decision.
I believe that we now have the right number of
trustees to enable the charity to move
forward, to be more organised, and will enable
the charity to do more for residents of Iwade
than we have been able to do until this point.|
