In furtherance of these objects<br>but not otherwise, the charity trustees shall<br>have power; to establish or secure the<br>establishment of a community hub and to<br>maintain or manage or cooperate with any<br>statutory authority in the maintenance and<br>meeting of such a hub for activities<br>provided by the CIO in furtherance of the<br>above objects.<br>|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|This last year, the barn has been running well.<br>We have continued to be able to offer the barn<br>free of charge to community groups, as well as<br>holding our own events to raise funds for the<br>upkeep of the building.<br>We have remained financially stable, covering<br>all costs, but this has only been possible by the<br>trustees volunteering their time to run the<br>monthly micropub, and other events.<br>We have still had a few issues with hirers not<br>looking after the building, and took the<br>decision to no longer accept bookings for<br>parties. This will remain under review.<br>We have taken on 4 additional trustees this<br>year to enable the work of the running of the<br>charity to be spread out among more people,<br>and this has been a successful decision.<br>I believe that we now have the right number of<br>trustees to enable the charity to move<br>forward, to be more organised, and will enable<br>the charity to do more for residents of Iwade<br>than we have been able to do until this point.|
