## **1. Objectives and Activities** 

Charitable Objects: 

The charity exists to advance the Christian faith, relieve poverty, and promote education and sustainable development in Liberia and surrounding regions, in accordance with Christian principles. 

## Public Benefit: 

The trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity’s aims and objectives and in planning future activities. 

## **2. Achievements and Performance** 

Strategic Foundation and Vision Building: 

2025 has been a foundational year focused on strategic development. The charity, still in its formative stage, concentrated efforts on shaping its long-term vision, governance structures, and potential project areas in Liberia. 

## Key highlights include: 

- Initial meetings and consultation with key stakeholders, including representatives from Liberia on zoom calls. 

- Vision alignment sessions with ministry and community leaders to define charitable priorities. 

- Early-stage scoping of land development and community support initiatives (education, sustainability, and faith-based training). 

## Partnerships & Leadership Engagement: 

- The charity began informal engagement with individuals and professionals (including faith leaders, , and sustainability experts) who are supportive of the charity’s mission and willing to contribute pro bono expertise during this phase. 

- **PBP** (Founder and Visionary Leader) has provided strategic guidance rooted in the original vision and spiritual mandate that birthed the charity. 



## **3. Financial Review** 

Income and Expenditure: 

The charity has not received any income nor incurred any expenditure during the 2025 financial year. This is consistent with the current development stage of the organisation. 

## Reserves Policy: 

As the charity is in its pre-operational stage, there are currently no reserves. Once income begins to be received, a reserves policy will be developed and approved by the trustees. 

## **4. Structure, Governance and Management** 

Legal Status: 

The charity is currently operating under a foundational structure and in the process of formalising its legal and financial frameworks in line with Charity Commission regulations. 

## Trustee Governance: 

The Board of Trustees has met regularly via Zoom and WhatsApp to discuss progress and strategic planning. Meeting dates and minutes are on file. Key matters addressed include: 

- Development of vision and mission statements 

- Strategic direction of the Liberia project 

- Roles and responsibilities of trustees 

- Exploration of partnership models with A&O Liberia church body 

## Conflict of Interest & Transparency: 

No conflicts of interest have been declared, and all trustees are operating in good faith and in alignment with the charity’s objectives. 

## **5. Future Plans (2026 and Beyond)** 

- Finalise registration and governance documents for both UK and Liberia operations. 

- Draft and approve a 3-year Strategic Plan focusing on community development, faithbased education, and sustainable land use. 

- Develop fundraising strategy and begin donor engagement. 

- Draft key policy documents including safeguarding, financial control, and trustee induction packs. 

- Commence proposal writing and submissions to grant-making bodies and partner churches.
