Section D Achievements and performance

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

This period was very difficult psychologically to both coaches/volunteers and participants due to post pandemic complications. It was extremely important to come back and bring joy and confidence back to the children knowing that some of them may have gone through hard time not seeing their peers at school and football sessions. Some older children came back with lack of confidence and we worked really hard to get them back on track by having motivation speeches and working close to parents to ensure kids have best experience participating in sports.

A lot of things have changed in terms of the way we deliver sessions and keeping all the sanitary methods in place like PPE equipment, hand sanitizers and keeping a safe distance. That took some extra work and new methods of dealing with things, but we did it very well and even until now we still are extra careful and cautious to make sure our activities are safe.

Our hard work allowed to increase the number of participants and raise interest in sports from local community in general. We have had more people wanted to join us and we have delivered more events to get children engaged and safely come back to post pandemic sports.

We have also used more software in our work which allowed our running process to be more automated and let us focus on other important things to let the organization grow.
