| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year |
In the period February 2020 and February 2021 T J Danes Rescue has rehomed 18 dogs. . All have been adopted. Due to the pandemic our fundraising has been negligible. We regularly receive between 10 and 15 expressions of interest per week on our website. We have tightened up our response to these requests in order to give prospective adopters the opportunity to carefully consider such a commitment. As a result of this individuals are given the opportunity to revise their enthusiasm for the breed through an exchange of information. Each and every dog who comes to us is checked by our veterinarian and appropriate treatment given where necessary. They are all neutered at our expense. In planning the activities for the year 2020/21 the trustees reviewed the Charity Committee guidance at their trustee meetings. Each of the trustees have read the guidance. |
