Para 1.20 | With COVID restrictions in place for almost the entirety of this reporting period, restoration and STEM activities were ceased. The lack of in-person visitors meant that attention was turned to fundraising online, mainly through merchandise sales (keyrings, badges, etc) and partnerships with watch and jewellery makers who used spare aircraft metal to make limited edition pieces. Funds raised allowed for the purchase of two RB199 engines, and transportation of a third which was gifted to the charity and is on public display at the South Wales Aviation Museum alongside the aircraft. |
