Hi all thank you for your interest and ongoing support throughout the year . The past year has still felt the knock on effect from Covid we have however managed to hold several activities for the community and had lots of fun.

We held a successful halloween party for the children & families of the community this event is always a success with the community as they get to come together in a safe environment and enjoy a party with their friends and family.

During November and December we prepared the zone for our christmas event for the community including light up Pentrebane like the halloween event this is also a huge success and the community really comes together to enjoy the festivities in a safe and welcoming environment we had santa's grotto, Arts & crafts, shops and a sing along to christmas carols.

Starting the new year on a positive in january 2023 we saw old and new faces using the center as new groups and classes started. We has warm up the community giving advice on how to stay warm during the winter and rising energy costs including giving away things that would help heat themselves and homes. This included reflectors for radiators, energy saving bulbs, blankets and snoodies and much more.

Parent & toddler saw some new faces attending which was lovely to meet the new little oneswithin the community and making that family engagement with families in the area,

Gardening club has always been a success among families and children in the community teaching some basic skills on growing your own produce which was a handy skill to have for people during cost of living crisis as lots of families grew their own fruit and veg to enjoy,

We also do food bags each Wednesday to support our community Our local counsellors also got in touch with us to sign post a few vulnerable people that needed support and needed extra help with food so we delivered emergency food bags to those.

June and July we made hanging baskets alongside other plants, fruits and vegetables that were all grown in our polytunnel to sell (All proceeds went towards the costs of the center .

August 2020 - Our brilliant volunteers continued to grow and sell flowers they even

grew a 11ft sunflower in our polytunnel (Pictures can be seen on our facebook group)

We also run our youth provision offering support to those who needed it. I would also like to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself and the trustee’s to morrisons llanishen, , jesus cares, tesco, M&S and fareshare and our funders for their continued support throughout the year without these none of this would have been possible.
