## **The Ark Centre Charity Annual Report August 2023**

The Ark Centre Charity was founded in 2015 by a parent of 2 children with autism to provide early intervention for children with autism and to fundraise to support local settings to allow children with autism to access their settings to the best of their ability.

Over the duration of 2022-2023 The Ark Centre Charity was not able fundraise due to a long-term sickness of the chairperson and maternity leave of another trustee.

However, The Ark Centre Charity was still able to support a local setting for children with additional needs by donating specialist sensory garden equipment and a bubble tube.

The Trustees attended several meetings and have agreed to continue to support local settings to enable more children with additional needs to access their services. As well as continue to fundraise with the long-term intention of opening an Early Intervention and therapy centre for children with autism, developmental delays, and other additional needs.
