**Objects:** (A) THE RELIEF OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONGST CHILDREN AND DISABLED ADULTS WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE BEEN RESIDENT IN INSTITUTIONS, ORPHANAGES AND CARE HOMES, PARTICULARLY IN EASTERN EUROPE;(B) TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THOSE INVOLVED IN THE CARE AND WELFARE OF SUCH CHILDREN AND DISABLED ADULTS.

**Activities:** The objects of the CIO are:(a) the relief of need, hardship and distress amongst children and disabled adults who are or who have been resident in institutions, orphanages and care homes, particularly in Eastern Europe;(b) to promote and advance the education and training of those involved in the care and welfare of such children and disabled adults.
