(a) The financial slalemenls have been prepared in accordance wth the Statement of
Recommended Practice ISORP} 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities. published in
March 2005 and other applicable accounting standards.
(b) Voluntary income is received by way of donations and gifts and is included in full in the
Slatemenl of Financial Activities when receivable. The value of services provided by
volunteers has not been incjuded.
Ic) Incoming resources from investments 1$ included when receivable.
{d) Resources expended are ￿cOgnised in the period in which they are incurred. Resources
expended includè anribuiable VAT which cannot be recovered.
(e) Depreciation is provided al rates calculated lo write off the cost of each asset over its
expected useful life, which is estimated at 4 years for equipment l¢amera's}.

Note l Accounting Polictes
(al The financial slatemenls have been prepared in accordan￿ wth the Sialement of
Recommended Practice (SORP) 'Accounting and Reporting by Ch8rities' published in
March 2005 and other applicable accounting standards.
(b) Voluntary income is received by way of donations and gifts and is included in full in the
Statement of Financial Activities when receivable. The value of seNices provided by
volunteers has not been included.
(c) Incoming resources from investments is included when receivable.
(d) Resources expended are recognised in the period in which they are incuffed. Resources
expended Include 8tt1ibuiablè VAT whi¢h cannoi be recovered.
{e) Depreaation is provided al rates calculated lo write off the cost of each asset over its
expected useful life, which is eslimaled at 4 years for equipment (camera's).
{fj Freehold Land al cost 13th September 1969.
(gi Restricted funds are to be used for spectfic purF)oses as laid down by the donor.
Expenditure which meets these criteria is charges lo the fund, together with fair allocation
of management and support cost.
(h) Unrestricted funds are donation and other incoming resources receivable or generated
for the objects of the church wthoul further specified purpose and are available as
general funds.
As a charity, Kings Heath National Spirilualisl Church is exempt from Corporation Tax
in the income and gains falling within Section 505 of the Taxation and Chargeable Gains
Act 1992 to the extent that these are applied lo its charitable objects.
