CHAIRS REPORT
Like the last, this season was curtailed bthe continuing Covid-19 pandemic. However, there were some important successes, including two large-scale appearances at Cambridge Summer Music Festival, in which FCO appeared under Mark Austin alongside renowned soloist Tasmin Little, co-commissioned a new work Iridaceae from composer Charlotte Harding (soon to be published bFaber), and delivered a successful educational workshop for 100 children. Members of FCO also performed on an album recording Bach Inspiredalongside The Bach Choir, which has received a 4-star review from BBC Music Magaine. There was one outdoor concert in the chamber series which proved to be verpopular as people emerged from lockdowns.
