Para 1.17 and
1.19
Like so many people, 2021 continues to
be overshadowed with one destructive
word..COVID! It effectively closed us
down. Toward the end of 2021 we saw the
country opens up in time for us to begin
again, but the Ukraine war has effected
the nation substantially. We are treading
water until after the winter of 2022-2023,
keeping publishing on TheWay and
taking a view in the Spring
Statement confirming
whether the trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Para 1.18 The Trustees Are Aware of the guidance
issued by the Charity Commission on

investment
Para 1.38 We currently have no policy on social
and program related investment, as
requirements present themselves, this

identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The Charity has been halted totally with
respect to Covid and associated
lockdowns. We have been trying to tread
water and keep things functioning, but it
has been very difficult with respect to
expected revenue from TheWay which
have fallen off a cliff. Only time will tell.
The Trustees have decided to sell
TheWay and we are looking to do so from
Spring 2023 onwards
