## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31[ST] MARCH 2024** 

The Trust has continued to carry out its obligations of Conservation and Education and maintaining a number of endangered and rare British and World species and the breeding thereof.  Many local students are given the opportunity of work experience or for other educational purposes. 

The finances have been again almost completely subsidised by the founding Trustees, Mr Antony Blackler and Mrs Cherry Blackler and new Trustees Mr Gary McCammick and Mrs Rhiannon McCammick BvetMed (Hons) CertAVP MRCVS; expenses not on the face of the accounts have been paid privately. 

The Trust was beginning to build a membership after a slow start, but Covid has set us back years as reported last year. 

Although it has been a slow start, the Trustees are confident that income will build after Covid.  Currently total costs have been reduced to approximately £10,000, against in excess of £70,000 at the first centre.  At the second centre being run by Mr & Mrs McCammick costs have been in excess of £25,000.
