To advance the education of children with an existing knowledge of French by providing teaching and group activities in the French language, French culture and in the study of the language, literature, history and culture of the francophone world.

In 2021-22, the Charity has provided to 292 pupils the possibility of practise French during 3 hours for 30 Saturdays. 	The Charity’s current reserves position is as follows:

	Our reserves result from accumulated unrestricted surpluses. We intend to maintain our reserves at a level which is at least equivalent to a rental deposit of six month’s rent plus one term’s operational expenditure. This is to mitigate against our principal risks of fluctuating

pupil numbers and in the eventuality of having to find new rental premises. The Charity maintains a rigorous budgeting procedure every year and forecasts are reviewed termly to ensure our expenditure remains in line with budget and that reserves are adequate to fulfil our continuing obligations.

Our principal source of revenue is school fees. Every year, school fees are determined at the lowest possible level required to maintain operational expenditure considering the fluctuation of pupils throughout the year. Our main expenses are rent and teaching costs.

In the year to 31 August 2022, the Petite Ecole d’Ealing has made a profit of £9,829 which is explained by the following:

Due to Covid, we had to budget a cleaning cost with the hosting school. This cost has been removed after the half-term holidays in October leading to surplus of £8,400.
A grant of £1,065 was received in July 2022 to finance Teachers trainings of the next financial year.
