welkbeing needs, as well a5 spiritual needs, Wlhin our ¢omtnunity. To help in this respecl we have conlinued our n&ighbourhood
befriendlng scheme 10 en¢ourage living well and Increased well-bÈiNJ in our neighbourhood. focusing specrfiralty on alleviHling
kJneliness. Our coffee hub and coffee lounge have provided regular and safe spatts forlhe local communily to gather for fnend8hSp
and sooal inleraclion.
The Parent and Toddler5 groups at both Finchfield and Compton sites continue to flourBh, with over40 children in regular 8tterK1ancÈ.
Buik1ino work
The building at Cofflplon was completed in June 2023 and Is now in regular use by Ihe local community as well as the church. The
project ha5 been furKle(I by a r￿l￿Vre of exlemal grant provillers a5 well a5 rnernbers of the d)urch. The Leadership ieam woukl h'ke io
give heartfelt thanks lo all those who have donated funds for Ihe complelion ol this project.
A Tnonlhly service ￿lled'cafè Church, h98 been ¥tgrted. Al¥0 the thurch ha¥ open¢d 8 Coffee Lounge. which providas a greal plac•
for the community lo come together for social activi￿e8. The building has also been renled out lo local user group5 including a
pholo9iaphy group, children'5 alhleii¢s and bridge club.
The church has Several ￿an810 Incre88e the us8 ol the new building in 2024. induding a weekly Sunday morning service. chlldren and
youth aclNi116s as well as events in the main hall.

On Ihe 1st of J8nuary 2023 Ihp ¢hurch appDinted & new. full time paid Senior Leader with experieno in church planting 8rKJ
evangelism. This is the first paid worker ol IFE churth and signifies H major slep in growin9 Ils missionary 8cliwlies The Senior Leader
has particular responsibility for planiing 8 new thurch ai the Compion sile and 3150 Starting oulread) and youlh activities there.
The church continues to provKle regularAlpha ¢ourse$ for those waniing 10 find oui more about the Christian faith A mi5sional
omtnunity has also bean es18b11shed In order to focus on oulfeach activthes. The chur¢h is meeting regulady wlh the wder wmmunily
both with the group5 11 wns, and by inwling in other qroups to use the building.

Pa51oral Care is an Inlegr81 part ofWCC and is vÈry important lo our leadership team. The￿ is very ￿gular contact with members of
WCC outside of Church s8rvice$ 2nd each member is encouraged lo lake part in caring for one a￿ther. The pastoral contact by the
Church k8d8rs arKI Pastoral Team h8s been very well m81niairEd.

WCC continues lo have good rÈlaiionships wlh other local churches and thurch le8ders in Wolverharnplon, extending the opportunity
for Shared resources and encouragement WCC cenlinue51o have liai80n, support and advice 8vai18ble frorn other church plants
across the UK. WCC church ￿aderS also aiiend Ihe Wolverh8mpion NET meetings. %vhich gathers together church leaders in the City.
WCC Is a member of 31..8 to ensure the highest standard5 in Sele9U8rding and is a member of the Evangelical Alllance. WCC Is also
parf of Counlies Conneet a nation81 organisalion for churches who wanl lo $erve10gelher on mission.

Total voluntary receipls of unrestricted funds were £77,651 and restricted funds were £21,433, Ihe majority of which w￿11 be used for the
refurbishmenl ol the Cotnplon sile for a setond Community Hub and Church. Further details can be found in the financial statements

WCC has four Trus18es lone Chairl and a Senior Leadership Team comprising Ihree Church Leaders and the Senior Leader. Apart
from the first Iruslees. new Iruslees are appointed by a resolulion passe(J al a property convened meeting of the chanty Irusiee5 and
recommended by Ihe Iru51ee5 or the splrilual ￿aderS to the charity. The￿ have been d15cussions lo Incre88e the number of trustees by
one in Ihe near future. All trustses and church leaders give Iheir lime volunlarily and receive no remuneration or olher benefits.

year ended 30 September 2024 on pages 5 to 7 followng.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the Iruslee5 of the charity you are responsible for the preparab'on of the accounts in aceordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 I'lhe 2011 Acl'l.
I report in ￿Spect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and
in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
