BASUK 2024 Accounts report information. 

In November 2024, BASUK women's wing has created a social fund to support each other, when one has a social event. 

Each participant contributes £10 monthly. The contributions are saved on a BASUK's bank account. A one off £500 lump sum is paid to  a participant in turns. A person receives the payment when she host a social event or she is in a financial hardship. 

The aim is to support and empower one another. 

In July 2024, BASUK organised a successful a UK seaside trip which included adults and children. The event involved music entertainment, varieties of food and drinks served, Members engaged on sports such as running competition, football and other activities. 

In July 2024, BASUK members have also attended a cultural event of other society; United Kiang Association in Birmingham. 

BASUK members supported each other in organising or hosting a naming  or a wedding ceremony. 

Offered bereavement and funeral support to members. 

Conducted monthly or emergency meetings.
