BASUK 2023 achievements
Online or face to face monthly executive meetings or quarterly general members’ meetings.
BASUK constitution edited on 19.10.2023.
Members supported each other in times of hardship such as bereavement.
Equally members join to celebrate each other’s achievement such as a naming ceremony or marriage.

BASUK annual conference took place in a hall in London.
Venue:
Gascoigne primary school, IG11 7DR
The event was attended by over two hundred people including adults and children.
Variety of delicious foods and soft drinks were served.
Joyous music entertainment and dancing.
Speeches from both kids and adults.
Members questions and answers time scheduled.
Members bonding and networking with each other as well as their families and other invitees.
Kids played games together including football and learn more about the Gambian culture.
The event was mainly sponsored by BASUK as a courtesy to members who have been volunteering for the charity in the past 3 years.
BASUK Annual Conference Rationale:

To give a general overview of Baddibu Society UK including Aims and Objectives (Mission and Vision).

To give a brief update on BASUK Activities over the years.

To allow networking and relationships building amongst members, as well as with other professionals.

To discuss the importance of Charity, especially BASUK, so as to inspire and motivate members.

To provide an opportunity to learn new skills for improvement and maintenance.

An opportunity for the big BASUK Family to get together, Engage, Interact, and ask questions concerning BASUK and share ideas on the way forward whilst enjoying food and drinks together.

Finally, to extend special thanks and appreciation to the entire BASUK membership for their individual and collective efforts and contributions.

Kids’ Beach Trip: Location:
Banjo Road Littlehampton West Sussex BN17 5LG
The event was attended by over 150 people including kids and adults.
Most members travelled together on coaches and some families drove to the beach side in their own private vehicles.
Members were engaged on various activities including running competition, football, and rounders.
The activities involved both parents and children.
Different delicious cooked foods such as grilled corn, meat, and drinks were swerved.
Music entertainment and dancing.
Expenses For the Beach Trip:
Transportation, food, and drinks came from members’ financial contribution; Most of them paid by instalment over a year ahead.
