**Objects:** 3.1 TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF MIGRANTS, REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS IN PARTICULAR THOSE COMING TO THE UNITED KINGDOM, BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM FIT AS A MEANS OF:A) ADVANCING THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING;B) RELIEVING THEM FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND UNEMPLOYMENT; ANDC) ADVANCING THEM IN LIFE AND ASSISTING THEM WITH THE ADAPTION WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY.3.2 TO PROMOTE RACIAL HARMONY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:A) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; ANDB) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS, INCLUDING THE ISSUES FACED BY MIGRANTS, REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS.

**Activities:** Upbeat Communities aims to relieve the charitable needs of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in particular those coming to the United Kingdom and to promote racial harmony for the public benefit. This is achieved by practical help, advice and education delivered directly to meet individual needs. This work is currently carried out in the Counties of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
