Chairmans/Pastors report.
April 2023-2024
God has given us as Pastors but also as a church , very specific words about the sort of church He wants us to be and how He wants to build His kingdom through us.
But to see a great fruit work there must first be a great root work.
2023-2024 as been a year of root work for KingsGate. Ezekiel 37. The valley of dry bones seems to fit very well for what we have seen.
Ezekiel 37 v1-3 stripping back to the remnants. We have seen us say goodbye to some and has seen those of us who remain come to understand that its a work of God not ourselves and numbers and empires are not what He requires be whole heartedly devoted to Him and teach others.
V 4-8 Flesh – Tendons and skin

Within the Life Churches, we have had teaching that has grown, built up and challenged us.

Everyone now attends and is growing within a Life Church setting.

Eating and having fellowship together regularly is forming trust, bonds and deeper friendships all which go beyond the surface.

Establishing family as the bible teaches we are.
All together Life Church.
In April 2023, we met at one of our Life Church hosts house for an all together Life Church, we had 20 people attend.
Also, throughout the year, we have come together to worship, for encouragement and fellowship; again a season of uniting and oneness.
Ezekiel 37 v9-10 – Breathe Life – Vast army
Spiritual gifts, ministries and building kingdom.
The foundation on which God is to build His church is one of holiness, love and unity where each body part has a wonderful part to play.
As the teaching and unity grows, we see individuals growing spiritually, a willingness to use spiritual gifts, worship leading, preaching and friendship evangelism into the community. Individual ministries are starting to grow within the church community and into the local community.
Walk to Bethlehem.
This has grown practically in team size and the operation of it and is now becoming a good outreach event for the wider community, we also saw a number increase of people attending.
Youth service.
This appears to have formed a regular congregation of its own and is starting to gain a sense of worship. This continues to run once a month.
To conclude.
Root work is never easy, but is necessary as God is building His church in holiness, unity and firm biblical teachings.
We believe as a result, KingsGate will stand strong as a vast army in the coming season. Ezekiel 37 v 10b
