## KingsGate Church, Helston Pastors Annual Report. Year end April 2022 A year of change for all at KingsGate church. The year started with three months of Steve and Debbie Carruthers still at the helm as Lead Pastors. Their retirement planned for the end of June. Vicky and I took up position as Pastors on the 1st July with a clear vision from God as to where we felt he was leading his Church. COVID restrictions were relaxing and we continued to meet at the Old Cattle Market, numbers were still low, but as confidence grew so did our numbers. The vision for the church was to begin to move away from the large Sunday morning gatherings towards smaller groups meeting in peoples houses within their own community to help create a better environment for making disciples of Jesus and help build relationships amongst our fellowship. Plans were made and our first LifeChurch@home took place prior to Christmas. During the last week in the Summer holidays, we held our first youth camp. This proved to be a great success with a good number of young people coming along for spiritual input and activities. In December we also held an event for the local community called The Walk To Bethlehem, an event aimed at bringing the focus back to Jesus when Christmas time has progressively become more and more commercialised. We have been able to bless financially a number of people locally as needs have arisen, along with some local charities and those further afield. We continue to be vigilant to where we are able to bless. As this year ends, we are considering extending the once-a-month LifeChurch@home to two during each month.
