## Activities

**Objects:** The Objects of York Road Project are to relieve need, distress and financial hardship among homeless people over the age of 18 within the Borough of Woking and environs, without discrimination, by:  i) Providing temporary housing to assist those who are homeless, at risk of being homeless or recovering from homelessness ii) Providing housing related support such as information, advice, training and onward referral or signposting to enable them to live more independent lives in the communityiii) Assisting homeless people’s integration into the community by educating the local community concerning the nature, causes and effects of homelessness.”

**Activities:** We help a homeless person have a place to call home by providing: 1. Immediate, safe, short-term accommodation; they should never need to sleep rough!2. Experienced, compassionate staff; trained to understand the causes of homelessness3. Skilled support, tailored to their precise situation, that helps them find a long-term home. Only York Road Project provides all 3 things in our locality
