The charity is governed by a constitution and is a trust. 

Trustees have been selected by existing trustees. Any future appointments will be by the same procedure, whether replacement or additional trustees. 

Falmouth Ex-Services CIO has been established to provide moral and financial support to ex servicemen and women and their families and dependants in the Falmouth area. The criteria for qualification are detailed in the constitution document of the CIO. 

The period covered by this report has seen a great deal of work carried out to establish the CIO, particularly with regard to the legal structure, and the establishment of a confidential meeting place for potential applicants. There has been liaison with the Town Council and the War Memorial Trust with the aim of refurbishing the existing Falmouth Memorial, and providing additional facilities to include the names of local servicemen who fell in WWII and subsequent conflicts. Contact has also been established with The Blind Veterans Association.
