Tru8tee8' Annuvdl Report
Structure, Governance and Management
Christians in Media UK is run by a small board of volunteers ￿MmItted tu guiding and delivering
the mission of the charity. In 2024, w8 had k8y leader6hip shifts: Lani stepped in as Chair mid-
y8ar, supported by Rebec￿ as Wi￿ Chair. New trustees Craig, Carol, Tolu, Lisa and Marcia all
joined the Board during 2024.
We also adapted to a leaner operational team when our Head of Operations and Flnan
Administrator moved on. The Board MaM￿rS filled vital roles, bringing practical skllls and
energy day-to4ay- all shaping a handsknon. collat￿rative culture. The unique strengths of each
Trustee came into sharp focus Ihis year and we're deeply thankful for the way God has brought
together such a purposefully skilled team - 8ach bringing timely talents that have mat the
charitls needs right when they were most n88dod.
Charitable Activities and Impact
2024 was a big year with fresh 8nergy, beginnings and deeper community engagement.
Global Day of Prayer
On Sunday 27 Octobar, joined our intemaiional partners to ￿st the flrst ever 24@hour
Global Day of Prayer for Modia, Arts & Entertalnment, streaming live as the sun moved
across th6 globe. Over the course of a full day, prayer segments were led by a diverse group of
media professionals and Christian leaders - from joum81ists to ¢reatives, broadcasters and
artists, across multiple time zones. Our UK segment vra5 host8d by our wdca5t anchor, Cada
Adebeken and we drew attention to th8 broad8r media ecosystem - not just mainstream media,
but also th8 arts and ent8rtainment industry- calling for truth, integrity and gra￿. It was also our
joy to partner wth the National Week of Prayer in the UK, which happened during the week of
our Engage conferen￿, to participate more broadly in praying for our nation and particularly for
Christians involved in the Media.
