3. Activities Undertaken over the Previous Year:
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, no fundraising events were able to occur for the last 12 months, especially as our main fundraising events take place in the Spring/ Summer. The Committee are hopeful that once the pandemic is over, we will be able to once again organise some community and fund-raising events. Aside from this point, it is worthy to note the Committee, along with local volunteers, did manage to undertake some working parties at the Community Hall between the National Lockdowns.
4. Financial Review:
Expenditure has again been kept to a minimum. The generosity of local people in helping to continue to maintain the grounds of the existing Community Hall for no cost, continues to help keep expenditure down. Income has been limited to Ground Rent Receipts.
5. Aims for Coming Year:
The short-term aim of the Trustees to the Charity is to encourage more people onto the Committee either in the form of Trustees or Volunteers. With more volunteers, this will enable us to again put on more social and fund-raising events once again.
In the medium term the Trustees of the Charity would like to carry on making progress with the development of the grounds to Chapel Hill & District Community Hall.
