To advance the Christian faith for the benefrt of the Fmthlic and in accordance with our Basis of Faith,
in Swansea and in such parts of the United Kin8dom or the world.
The trustees have considered the tharity CommissiDrfs guidance on the public benefit and the
specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion.
In particular, the charity pwovides benefft through:
A place of worship for holding of 5eThices to which the public can attend.
Carrying out related artivit￿5 such as religious instruction for people to have a deeper
personal knowledge of Jesus through the teaching of the Bible.
Involvement in the Christian misS￿n in Swdnsea. the UK and worldwide.
Promoting prayer. praise and study.
Activit￿$ to benefrt members of the community, e.B. Youth dub5. parent and toddler
group5. Seniorfs events and ot￿r informal meetin85 open to the public.
Through the condurting of religious ceremontes within church building e.g. the
celebrat￿￿ of marriages. baptisms or funerals.
Through prison and hospital visitin8.
Through, the encouragement and support of pastoral and outreach work;
Through financièl support to employee5 of the charity employed to promote the beliefs of
the church e.g. Church workers.
The policy is not to maintain excessive reserves unless for a capital project. A separate'building
fund, has been Set up to build up savi1￿5 towards a capltal project to build a w church building or
carry out 518nificant improvements to the existing Gospel Hall.
DCF'S main source of income is through donatK)nsfrom Th￿rnber$ ofthe ¢ongre8alion.
Trustees
There were 3 resiEnation5 to the body of trustees during the year wlth 9 remainire in place. One
replacement t¥UStee has been Klentthed to bring the numbeis of trustee5 to 10.
Achievernents and Perfonnance
Significantly this year the Covid-19 kjckdown has affected much of the in-person M￿ting artivities
of ihe church. However, significant success was made in use of the internet and in particularsunday
Services were broadcast on YouTube. Daily video recordings also issued on YouTube for daity
encouragement utilising many membeys of the church. The church was also keen to supw)rt
struggling families arKI the support Df l(Kal foodbank5 and distribution of gifts to those in need at
Christmas are examples of special actNities undertaken.
Our weekty Lifegroup5 moved online during lockdown using Zoom and in addition there were many
other social event& ouiues and times to meet up online foi felkywship.

During this time. together with our Life Groups* diKipleship and pastoral care. the church
community has an opportunity to learn to become more devoted followws ofjesus. This is partly
evidenced by people publicly testifyir% their faith and being baptised as believers.
During lockdown we were still pleased to See new people joinire us as new members.
Membership & Pastoral C¥e
We do not a5 a churd)'rurf strict n￿Mbership. however we do e￿)urage a position where we a5
leaders kr￿W ihose who wish to make Dynv•nt Christian Fellowship IDCFI their spiritual home. As
this enables a two-way accountability to be encouraged. re￿Ne care from the leadership and
demonstrates a willingness to give and setve fKom the whole'membership..
We continue to seek tts develop a Care Net that starts most importantly with encouraging 'member
io memberf care. We also believe the Lrfe Groups fomi an important part of this Care Net in how we
grow and care for one another. Our churth worker5. ha¥e increased their time serving in this area as
well a5 the Leadership Team and other volunteers sn the church who visit the yck, elderly etG

This rnoved online durin8 lockdown but is Still able to be the foius for our
ain church sery￿e. Our aims in this Servi￿ are to have a time where the whole church family can
meet together, grow in our love and corpor3te worship for the Lord and hear from God togetheT
through His Spirit through God's Word. To reflect this aim recorded contributions from many
families was made during lockdown from their home or gardens. These were all combined to form
the recorded seThices. Teaching Sessions were ￿nd￿led a5 a major part of the recordin85.
SuThlay morning teaching has covered a number of 'series': linkèd of course to the bible eath week
which is then foliowed up for further di5CUS5ion in our mid-week Lifegroup5. Attendance this year
has been measured in the rhumber of unique YouTube views. We have regularly seen over 120 views
each week and at time5 this has increased to up to 3(M). We also had over 150 subscribers to our
YouTube channel. Subscriber5 have been people in the local a￿a but also furthei afiefd.
COmmun￿n Ithe taking of bread and wine togetherl- Remembering our SavK)ur in partaking
of the "Lord's Suppert is a tore value and has always ￿en one of ourconstant practices. During the
year, this moved online (Zoom}. with a different host/volunteer from the church membeFship
leading each week. Communion happened each bveek on Sunday mornings or midweek in Life
Gmups. We believe in the priesthood of am belie¥ers and so want to give people the opportunity to
share and participate.
