Here our volunteer**<br>**teachers and helpers assist the**<br>**members if they require it.  The aquatic**<br>**activities include advice on individual**<br>**swim technique, training for Galas,**<br>**water therapy and pool games. They**<br>**also assist with advice and guidance if**<br>**necessary to the carer/parent/partner to**<br>**aid the swimmer.**<br>**For the more able and independent**<br>**swimmer who attends the swim session**<br>**it can provide respite for the**<br>**carer/parent/partner.**<br>**This year due to COVID the pool was**<br>**only open for 3 months– September,**<br>**October and December 2020.**<br>**Our swim sessions were structured in**<br>**such a way to allow for social**<br>**distancing so the pool was organised**<br>**into 3 lanes in the first session and 1 in**<br>**the second session (to allow a more**<br>**open area for the children and carers).**<br>**The Trustees considered these activities**<br>**met the Clubs Charitable objectives.**<br>**We monitor and review our services**<br>**every year.**|

The Club also has a**<br>**Facebook page.**<br>**The social activities enable our disabled**<br>**members to access the local community**<br>**safely and feel less isolated.  Again, due**<br>**to COVID we have not been able to**<br>**organise any social events.**<br>**All the activities of the Club aim to**<br>**increase the confidence, health and**<br>**well-being and self-esteem of our**<br>**members.**|
