## **Chairman of the Trustees Report 2024 to 2025** 

The end of the eleventh year of our charitable status and we in our second year at our premises in West Bank, Chorley. 

Since we moved in there has been a continuous improvement to our facilities, plans for a splendid garden area to benefit our Service Users. 

The unaudited financial report shows loss over the year but this was expected due to ongoing investment in our facilities and inflation. The balance sheet, however, remains healthy. 

I am proud of the commitment and professionalism of all the staff and their genuine care for all our service users and their carers. Their expertise and help is spreading outside of our day care centre. Genesis remains a valuable asset to the people of Chorley and the surrounding area
