The benefits of this are that members of the public who are famers and breeders are encouraged to produce the very besl examples of their particular speciality that they can, thereby preserving and improving animal husbandry and subsequently food quality. The competitive exhibition of such specimens educate, entertain and infomi members of the public who may not otherwise come into contact with traditional or modem faming techniques.
