Activities
2024/25 saw the scheme apply for 2 grants for the sole purpose of replacing the responder car, which was replaced in 2025/26.
Bridgnorth Community First Responders respond to 999 calls on behalf of the West Midlands Ambulance Service, providing lifesaving care prior to the arrival of an emergency ambulance.
Alongside responding the scheme provides CPR & Defibrillator awareness free of charge within the local community.
Funds
All funds are raised through fundraising at local events and businesses by way of charity collection tubs, or grant applications to facilitate bigger purchases. All funds are unrestricted.
Future Plans
Within the 2025/26 year we will use the grants received in 2024/25 to purchase a replacement responder car that is fit for purpose to last us many years to come.
