What
Our charlty pr¢)vldes SLtpported accommodation and ftoatin8 SUPPOrt. We work closely wlth
private landlord5. housing departments, reqlstered social landlords and thÈ local authority to
secure temporary and permanent accommodation. Ability to Change is a Supported Housin8
Service, whom provides a person-tentred approach sypport service & network to Service Users
who h•v• become homele55. Our work is b45ed on Indi￿dUallY tailored support plans for every
service user underplnned by a framework of equal opportunities. anti-discrimination and mutual
respect. We offer the sarne support packa8e to both those who have offended and those who
are at risk of olfendin8. This Is in the form ol accvmrnodatlon, ETE (Education, Training &
Employmenil and course paymtn15. We also provide any resources needed when acte55in8
these services such a5 books. statlonery. and appropriate clothing for Interwews or lor particular
job role5, such as the construction industry where specialised clothing is required.
Our Support Workers and adrnin stalf are all given in-house trainin8 lor tht fole5 that they are
undertaking, and we also use a HR service that provides an E-learning Hub, as well as an
Employee Assistance Programme lor wellbeing and toun5ellln& that all staff have access to.

In order to e5tabllsh ATC's 5eryice delivery. all staff especially Support Workers are required to
work withln a spe¢ific Skill set. This specific Skill set will enable & empower all Service Users the
Ability Tg Change their lives. maintain a posttive fvture and move on to independent livln8 Wlth
confidence.
We provide supported a£tommoiJation and floating svpport We understand the importance of
stable accommodation in helping ex-offenders and the homeless to rnove ofi Irorn crime. We
have continued to dÈveloped stron8 working partnerships with multiple a8enties in both publi
and private sector or8anis3tions. Collaboratin8 and de¥eloping new partner5 and securt
referrals. We recognise the benefits of a collaborative. multi-agenry approach.

Delivery of aimlE¥alu*bon
We are continually evaluatin8 our service delivery and aim to ensu￿ we achieve Ouf objectives
and maintain our service to our hi8hest 5tandaTds. We have a monthly tracker that we use to
detail and track the progress being made by each service user. This includes information on
trainin& employment and other needs that have been identified for the client and is
continUOU51y documented. We ifan5feT this information to a yearly rracker which then pro¥ide5
an overall picture of what's been happening durinR the year_ We also continue to use a record
system Qungte5 that holds the personal information of each client and notes are added
whenever any type of contact is made Dr an event has happened. The tfacker and record system
are used for the duration ol the client's time with our serwte.
Achievements and pertormance
We 5UPPOrt on avera8e. SO people each year, and these include service users who have been
with u5 fgr more than a yeaf, as well as new client5 who come in when a space becomes
avallable. We work wilh clients for at leasi two years on avera8e as part of the move-on process.
We are pleased to say with yet another consecutive year our service users are pro8re55ing
positlvely and seekin8jobs and Irving Ind*pendentlv.

The trustees of Ability to Change are responsible for preparing the TfUStees' Annual Report and
the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting
Standards Iunited Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practicel.
Charity law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which
give a true and fair view of the srate of affairs of rhe Charity and ol the incoming resources and
application of resources, including the Income and expenditure. of the tharity for that period. In
