RISK REVIEW
The trustees conduct periodic reviews of the major risks to which the charity is exposed and systems and procedures to manage those risks identified are implemented so as to minimise any potential impact on the charity should any of those risks materialise.
RESERVES POLICY
The trustees consider the current level of reserves is sufficient to cover eventualities as they arise.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The charity acknowledges its requirement to demonstrate clearly that it must have charitable purposes or 'aims' that are for the public benefit. The Trustees confirm that they have paid due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit before deciding what activities the charity should undertake.
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The objects of the charity are set out in the constitution as follows:
To advance the Christian religion by preaching and teaching Christianity, spreading the gospel of Christ, teaching Christianity to children, reaching out to the poor and elderly of the community, counselling and providing assistance for those in need of counselling, and the advancement of education for Christian Ministry.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Glory and adoration be unto the Ancient of days for the great achievements of our programmes as planned and executed by God Almighty Himself making use of the workers in the Overcomers Christian Fellowship International. The blessings received could be physically seen in the lives of not only the members of our Church, but people in our community. Souls were touched, and many lives, marriages and families meant for destructions were saved.
The unrelenting efforts of all our volunteers, ministers of God and all members of the Church contributed greatly to the success of all our programmes in the year 2024; and thus greatly appreciated by the Church’s Trustees.

REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES - continued
Spiritual counsellings with prayers by the Pastorate were rendered on various issues of life confronting members, and even the community non - members of the Church signposted to the Church. More souls were added to the Church through these counsellings, and sense of community cohesion fostered in our midst.
New musical instruments were purchased for our worship team with new music director employed in the year under review.
The growth in both spiritual and numerical strength of the Church members prompted the Church leadership to create four cell groups for members to be closer to each other regarding meeting their needs and aspirations. The Church then sponsored “Leadership Training” delivered by Global Institute to the new cell groups’ leaders to be effective and efficient in managing their online cell groups’ meetings every Friday.
Project Management Training delivered by Key Skills Consultancy was also given to the Church members. This training programme did equip members with both the technical tools and the soft skills needed to lead projects more efficiently; which was an eye- opener to the members in managing both their personal and professional projects.
Also due to the growing numerical strength of the members; the Church commenced two Sunday services during the year under review.
Our annual responsibilities to the less privileged members in our community was fulfilled by making donations from the Church members of food items, toiletries and other essential items and given to “Shekinah Mission” that caters for the homeless people in our community.
As part of our wider community participation with other faith leaders; the Church’s Pastorate attended meetings; and the Leader’s Annual Conference organised by Churches Together in Plymouth (CTiP).
Christmas events, women and men programmes, the Christmas and Cross - Over events were all great successes to the glory of God. We are trusting God for the outpouring of His generational “Divine Flourishing” upon our lives, our community and our country (United Kingdom) in the year 2025.
Every blessing.
Pastor A.M. Ileladewa. Chairman – Board of Trustees.
