## **7 Any Other Business**

It was noted that attempts to raise funds from external sources had become very difficult. The normal routes through supermarkets reserved their charitable funds for Community projects. TG had found a concerted email and letter drop to nearly 40 local businesses had failed to raise any monies at all.

Dr S suggested a different approach and joint ventures between CMG and PPG. Dr S and JC noted a number of possibilities:

- fund raising with PPG at flu clinics - also raise PPG profile

- posts on social media seeking funding via patients

- canvass patient body - if they wanted to show support - donations - would need clear guidance of where the money would be spent - perhaps examples of

- wnat various sums would purchase?

- actively have profile (gazebo!) at Ashby events

- A Park Run in July to celebrate 75 years of the NHS - Dr S to provide contact - this is a National event - perhaps could be a local fundraiser
