The Trust's mission is to promote and encourage the development of well-run residential summer camps in the UK, so that many more British children and young people can take part in summer camps and by spending time in happy communities in the context of a good holiday benefit their self-confidence, social skills, creativity and positive attitudes, as well as making them happier.

Objects: To Help Young People, Through Leisure Time Activities By Encouraging Them To Attend Residential Summer Camps, So As To Develop Their Capabilities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society.
