Our main achievemènt this year was that the trustees visKJn and ￿anS forlhe vènuè, as wgll as our'can do at￿'tude.
instilled enough confidence in the Off￿rs and covnuifors of Ryedalè Di*tsid CouncAI that they awarded the Milton
Rooms a 9fant ¢*f £193.000. plus a further riThJ fenced £307. 000 for a WDgarTwne of renovation and enhancement

Th8 r&sults for the year ending 31st March 2021 show an overall surFlus Èn year of £18,475. Afterlransfers this
comprises a surp￿5 of £8.475 on unrestricted fvnds., a deficit of £915 on Trstricied funds and a surplus of £10,915 on
designated funds. The Latter refieclbng the newly &sta￿lShed r¢fvthshment C4Mlingency [￿￿$10n.
Thtr level of free r•s•rm. thal is thos• unr•strid8d ￿nds not ti&d up in tangble fc<ed assets. nor h•ld in d•$ignated
funds, now stands at £20.$29 at 31$t Ma￿h 2021. This is an improvement on the p05itson at the end ofthe Fyewous
year and roughty equates to siK months, running o)sts (based on 2019r20 accounts and exduding the Venue
Manager Fees), hence trustees are confident that the charity is OFerating as a going ￿nCarn. In addttion lo this, Ihe
Iwslees have retained £3,000 in d•$ignated funds to cover the pot&ntkal dowi ¢x)sls in the event of'dosure and
establish•d a designated rgfurbishment provision of £10,915 to prDwdo a ¢ontingenry fund for the imminent
premises alterations and any unexpected ts￿akd￿s or repairs. The charity does not have any employed staff henc
no redundancy povision is required howeverthe knjslees feel that it is PrUd￿t to designate son* funds forth&
