WORK CLOSELY WITH INDUSTRY EXPERTS TO SUPPORT EMERGING TALENT
- Trustees Annual Report July 2020 June 2021
The UK Film Education Trust continues to develop partnerships with other professional industry training providers to enable opportunities for students to gain access and eventually employment in the creative industries.
The last year has been the toughest yet with the global pandemic and COVID restrictions bringing everything to halt, which has caused major delays to our expectations for this year, however our aim for the coming year is to continue organising strategic partnerships with industry bodies and continue our support with Animated Women UK for their mentoring program with Disney.
Prospect research continues to be carried out by the Trust to identify potential donors and to develop longer term supporters. This includes potential donors who come from the film industry itself as well as those with an interest in supporting opportunities within the creative industries. We are now officially supported by Pinewood Studios so we will also be looking at corporate sponsorship from other companies based at Pinewood Studios and connected with film production, distribution and marketing.
