Accounting Year 2021-2022
Trustees
As the accounting period drew to a close the trustees stepped down and made way for a new group of trustees to take the charity into 2022/2023. The outgoing Chair of Trustees was thanked at the AGM for all his hard work and commitment to the charity he was wished well with his future ventures.
Trustees during the accounting period of 2021/2022 was dedicated to seeking new funding to drive forward the SAR program.
Operational changes
The decision was taken by Committee to cease providing a CFR program along side EMAS (East Midlands Ambulance Service), this decision wasn’t taken lightly but in the best interest of the charity, finding and insurance provider was impossible to cover the charity whilst we had a CFR section.
Events
Fundraising events brought in over £1700 for the charity, this was largely done by tombola and raffle stalls, we would like to thank the keen dedicated team of fundraisers for their efforts.
COVID-19
Call outs for COVID-19 related tasks have pretty much drawn to a close, thus creating opportunity for responders to earn a much needed rest.
