L-CAT TRUSTEES REPORT.

## **Trustees**

Number of trustees has stayed the same.

Trustees have focused on raising funding for Search and Rescue team and general community response.

Advancement for effect command and control on deployments especially during the pandemic. They

have also sourced funding for a computer and mobile app portal to engage with volunteers in a secure

environment.

## **Volunteers**

We like to thank our dedicated volunteers for their exemptional work in some incredibly challenging times. Our volunteer membership has increased to 100 with a steady stream of new applications received weekly.

## **Assisting the Community**

Assistance has been made available to our Local Resilience Forum / other charities and blue light

services.

## **Plans for future period.**

Expanded the Search and Team capabilities to include a flood assistance and Drone assets .

Community First Responders we have ceased out partnership with East Midlands Ambulance Service due to lack of support from them and trying to set up a new group to push L-CAT out.

## **COVID-19 Impact**

Fundraising events have been seriously suffered but we have been able to compensate with grants and

donations which would outweigh any fundraising events of the past years. Our training and engagement

have been affected considerable with covid 19 restrictions which our new portal system has allowed us

to communicate efficiently. Training has taken place but with limited numbers and as restrictions are lifted we endeavour to bring all volunteers back up to training level pre covid.
