## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

Salle Angelo Fencing Club is a registered charity governed by its constitution. 

The trustees are responsible for the overall management and control of the charity and meet as required to oversee the charity's affairs. 

New trustees are appointed in accordance with the charity's governing document. 

## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** 

The charity's objects are to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the sport of fencing and related sporting activities for the benefit of the public. 

The trustees confirm that they have referred to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity's aims and objectives and when planning future activities.

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** 

During the financial year ended 31 December 2025, the charity carried out no charitable activities. 

Attendance at club activities had declined significantly and, together with the absence of donations and other sources of income, resulted in all activities remaining suspended throughout the reporting period. 

No training sessions, coaching programmes, competitions, outreach activities or other charitable events were undertaken during the year. 

The trustees continue to monitor the position and will review whether activities can resume should sufficient participation, volunteer support and funding become available in the future.

The trustees have considered the charity's financial position and note that there were no transactions, assets or liabilities during the year. The trustees will continue to review the future viability of the charity and opportunities to recommence activities if circumstances change.
