Contribution made by volunteers	Para 1.38	The development of the church's ministry relies heavily on the assistance of volunteers, especially in the Cantonese worship part. Due to the large number of

immigrants from Hong Kong, 95% of the church's Cantonese worship services have participated in the church in the past two years. They have provided musical support for our worship, so that the music of the worship can be richer. In addition, it also triggered the rapid expansion of the Sunday school. The efforts of the volunteers have made this ministry effectively managed, which is really indispensable. Now the three Sunday school classes have good results, allowing the children to get good Bible learning. Other

Para 1.20	During this year, as many Hongkongers have moved to the UK, our church, after starting separate Cantonese and Mandarin worship services in mid-2022, has seen attendance grow from around 70 to between 150–200 people now participating in Sunday worship. This has provided spiritual support for Hongkongers settling in the UK. In terms of Bible study groups, we currently have three different groups: two in-person Mandarin Bible study groups and one online Cantonese Bible study group. These groups not only provide spiritual support but also serve as platforms for sharing life experiences and offering emotional support. Members of the online Cantonese Bible study group come from various UK cities, including Liverpool, Southampton, Kent, and Epsom, enabling our church’s ministry to reach Chinese communities beyond Liverpool. Regarding cancer care, over the past year we supported three cancer patients with practical needs. Two of them, after recovery, have continued to participate in our church gatherings. In our gambling addiction ministry, although no formal cases were taken on, we were able to connect with three families seeking help, offering advice on overcoming gambling addiction and

raising awareness of its harms.

These achievements demonstrate our church’s commitment to advancing its mission and continuing to deliver lasting public benefit.
