SORP reference<br>Summary of the purposes of  Para 1.17  The objects of the CIO are for the<br>the charity as set out in its  advancement of the Christian Religion,<br>governing document  in particular by support of the activities<br>of St Mary’s Church, Church Road,<br>Winkfield SL4 4SF (hereafter referred to<br>as The Church), by providing from time<br>to time:<br>(1) Help towards the cost of the<br>preservation and repair of the fabric of<br>The Church.<br>(2) Help towards the cost of the<br>replacement and maintenance of major<br>items, for example heating in The<br>Church.<br>(3) Help towards the continuation and<br>enhancement of the musical life of The<br>Church, including but not limited to (a)<br>maintenance and (if appropriate)<br>enhancement or extension of the organ<br>(b) procurement of instruments,<br>acoustic devices, sheet music, and<br>other musical goods and services, as<br>used by the choir or choirs.<br>(4) Help with the maintenance costs of<br>ornaments and furnishings of The<br>Church.<br>(5) Help with the maintenance costs and<br>upkeep of the churchyard of The Church<br>(6) Support, initiation, execution or<br>management of fundraising for capital<br>or other projects for The Church, that<br>serve Objects (1) to (5) above.<br>Summary of the main  Para 1.17 and  Fundraising by means of subscription,<br>1.19<br>activities in relation to those  donations, and running fund-raising<br>purposes for the public  events., particularly events involving the<br>benefit, in particular, the  wider community<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>
