Activities
Our aim is to provide a visionary and unique centre to enable pupils of The Milestone School and SAND Academy, along with children, young people and adults throughout Gloucestershire, to overcome disability.Our vision is to enhance the wellbeing of those with disability - how they feel, how they function on a personal and social level, and how they feel about their lives as a whole.
Objects: The Objects For Which The Company Is Established Are Specifically Restricted To Such Objects And Purposes In Any Part Of The World As Are Exclusively Charitable For The Public Benefit And In Particular (But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing) To:1. Promote The Education Of The Pupils Of The Milestone School, Gloucestershire (The "School"); 2. The Holistic Advancement Of Health;3. Relieve Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Or Other Disadvantage By Engaging In Activities And Providing Facilities Or Equipment (Including But Not Limited To Building And Operating Specialist Hydrotherapy And Physical Education Facilities) To Support:(a) The School And Its Pupils;(b) Patients Attending Gloucestershire Royal Hospital Children?s Unit;(c) Students With Physical Disabilities Attending Other Schools In Gloucestershire; (D) Disabled Young People And Adults Living In Gloucestershire; And(e) Other Organisations In Gloucestershire Whose Aim Is To Support Any Persons In The Above Categories, And4. Such Other Objects And Purposes In Any Part Of The World As Are Exclusively Charitable.
