**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ('THE OBJECTS') ARE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE ART OF POETRY HOWSOEVER AND WHERESOEVER AND PARTICULARLY IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK IN ALL RESPECTS FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT.

**Activities:** Suffolk Poetry Society provides creative and educational poetry opportunities for its members and the public. It organises workshops,poetry readings and an annual poetry festival, often with other art forms. It runs the annual George Crabbe Memorial  Poetry Competition.There is a postal portfolio group, website and regular printed and electronic newsletters.
