**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE REGAL FILM SOCIETY IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS, PARTICULARLY THE ART OF FILM AND ALLIED VISUAL TECHNIQUES. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING OBJECT, BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE SOCIETY SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO ARRANGE SHOWINGS OF FILMS TO ITS MEMBERS AND TO THE PUBLIC PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE REGAL THEATRE, MINEHEAD, AS WELL AS TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND APPRECIATION OF FILMS BY MEANS OF LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS AND EXHIBITIONS.

**Activities:** To advance  public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the Arts, particularly of Film and allied visual techniques.The Society arranges showings of films to its members and to the public particularly but not exclusively in the Regal Theatre, Minehead; and will promote the study and appreciation of films by means of lectures, discussions and exhibitions.
