IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER: TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN OR MANAGE OR COOPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.

Trustees have reviewed and had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit and accordingly have proposed: A flagship community centre, whose principle elements are: • Visitor Reception and Information • Garden City Studies • Community Space These elements encompass activities including: • Provision of heritage and exhibition facilities, event and meeting facilities. Provision of training, learning, physical and cultural activities, education, publishing, information and advice. • The sale of publications, souvenirs and gifts, food and drink. • Allotment based agriculture and horticulture.
