## **Report of the Trustees for the year ending 31st December 2020**
Rushjudo presents its annual report and accounts for the year ended 31[st] December 2020 and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the trust deed, and the Charities SORP (FRS 102)
## **OUR AIMS**
To provide opportunities for everyone within the community to take part in judo. From beginners to advanced competitive players. Incorporating children, adults, and those with learning disabilities / special educational needs.
To ensure that everyone can access judo regardless of their financial means or circumstances.
## **OUR OBJECTIVES**
- Maintain “charity” status for Rushjudo.
- Maintain and decorate the “Dojo” to a high standard.
- Introduce a National Squad player pathway guide for parents.
- Increase the coaching staff by investing in our more experienced players and ensuring there is succession management.
- Maintain the regional Centre of excellence for performance and special needs players.
## **REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS**
## **Jan – March 2020**
The only competition the club attended before covid 19 brought a stop to judo was the British Schools championships at Sheffield. The club took a gold from Jessica Rush and two bronzes from Albert Newbury Kemp and Matthew Morley. In the adoptive Judo section Stanley Walker won gold and Keira McKenna got a Bronze.
Coaches Pete and Laurie attended the Paris Tournament as spectators to observe high level international competition. This was privately funded but seen as a future personal development opportunity for club coaches.
## **– April September 2020**
Judo was closed due to COVID
## **September – December**
Phase one of return to judo. Monday & Wednesday fitness sessions. Items had to be purchased to enable this to go ahead. Hygiene measures had to be taken, signs had to be put in the dojo etc
## **FUTURE PLANS**
- Invest in the members and educate suitable players to assist the coaching programme.
- Continue to fund England squad players.
.
- Send a team of Special needs players from both junior and adult classes to the GB championships.
- Organise / run our own Special needs championships.
- Support our elite players on the England talent programme to compete for their country
- Increase the number of masterclass guest coaching evenings.
- Increase the number of Black belts produced by the club.
## **OUR FINANCE**
Total Income of £15,042.29
Income is made up of Mat fees, income to cover competitions, gradings, judo suit sales, merchandise etc. The main cost against mat fees is the dojo rent, coaching costs, courses, etc. Competitions and gradings contra with the costs out for these things.
The net profit for the year was £27.05 Fixed Assets - NBV £0.00 Bank Balance - £15,184.31 Cash in hand - £53.00
Accounts have been Examined by Nicola Davies – she has 25 years of accounts experience and has studied AAT. Nicola has completed and signed the independent examiners report on the accounts.

## **Independent examiners report on the Accounts of Rushjudo 2020**
Nicola Davies has over worked in accounts for over 26 years and has studied AAT. Nicola has done a review of the cash balances and transactions of Rushjudo with an overview of th 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.
